In my erratic assignments I have had the pleasure of getting to see a lot of work done with CNC (Cellulose Nano Crystals) in concrete - offering the choice to go 15-20R% less cement in mix or enjoy same margin of increased strength. Want to use this material additive if and when I try to make PFCC (preformed foam cellular concrete) wall panels.

I have been working with 2 other companies/groups on what started out as very different projects - often including nano-tech particles. Both very independently ended up deep into the graphene world - and simultaneously testing their products (both graphene nano platelets) in concrete. Just received videos of one testing samples pulled from last week's pour. Target was to end up around 5k at 28 days but hit that already on day 3!

I am not a civil/dirt digger guy, purely mechanical - but seeing these kinds of compressive strengths and knowing from other company (with 3 years of testing under their belt) that flexural modulus and tensile strength can also be greatly increased with really low dose additive graphene gets me pretty excited. Makes my ideal of removing rebar completely and using fiber (basalt in my case) or helix (not my choice, but well established) as re-enforcement is starting to look pretty good.

Just need to get budget funded and looking forward to doing my floor pad in graphene infused, fiber re-enforced pours from my own mixer. Seeing quirks of science translate into useful technology is really exciting (to me, at least)
