Thats a nice find, most of those were stolen out of tool boxes by squirrels back in the 30's

Much older than my "zone" of collecting at this time. I'm clueless!

Wow, I figured it was old, but I wasn't expecting to hear 1925!

Bull,
You know what that means don't you?
It means you need more/older tool boards!:lol_hitti

I 100% agree with you.

The oldest ones I have seen pics of are from a catalog I have from '55 I think. The boards just have the Blackhawk name at the top, and that's it. No tool outlines or part numbers. Kind of a bummer.

I would LOVE a board like that! I'd actually be able to hang whatever I wanted on it, and use it to hold the tools I frequently grab!

If you ever come across one, please let me know.

I'd really dig having a tool board, but I can't collect tools just to fill the outlines. And having the wrong outlines for the tools hanging on the hook would look horrible.

I will keep you in mind during my daily searches for this stuff, Brad.

The main set of boards I am working on are my go-to, mainline tools. So, I am not just collecting them to have them, they are what I will use to work on my old Pontiacs.

Oh yeah, I totally get that you're using the tools you're collecting. Which is EXTREMELY cool!

I've got far too many tools already to start collecting full sets to put on a board and use though.

My tool box is pretty full, and then I've got at least two of every size wrench on the wall from 5/16 to 1 1/4, a full set of adjustables (for flanging edges on sheetmetal projects) a couple Channel Locks, a set of vintage wood handled screwdrivers, and a few other things. a few saws, a few hammers, etc. etc. etc.

I love car-related vintage signage and advertising, so some no-outline Blackhawk boards on the wall would be awesome, and useful... I like form, I love function, and there's nothing better than blending the two.
