*drool* There's a lot of green **** on ebay lately. I might get this, depending on the auctions that end tomorrow. I sure appreciate everybody that PM's me or makes a thread about this stuff.

I'm starting to get a decent collection at home:

When I joined this forum, I had 3 ratchets at home, 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" Craftsman raised panels. You bastards made me get these:

I admit I am developing ratchet envy. I'm up to 13 or so.

I've only got about 200 screwdrivers, but many are ugly and I want more.

Oh well, there's good company here...even if there are dangerous side effects.

I have that pistol grip ratcheting screwdriver. I don't think it's very smooth, but you can put a lot of torque on it.

What's the yellow and black stuff you're hiding in the back? Don't be ashamed:bounce:

at least you didn't fall asleep while waiting for an auction to end. Then you would feel really silly:spit:

Those are *gasp* popular mechanics nutdrivers. I have the full wrench, socket, screwdriver, nutrdriver sets. To be honest, I had little problem with it, except for when they "upgraded" to a new version of ratchet. I got some warrantied (I was being stupid with them), and got the "new and improved" version which SUCKED, and broke immediately. Meanwhile, they came out with a newer yet design, which seemed ok. However, they wouldn't give them out for warranty until the older ones were depleted. I went in circles with them about it.

I finally gave in, and took the "improved" ones home, put them in a 10" wilton vise, got a 3' pipe, and broke them again, and again, and again, and again, until I ran through their entire stock at the store and they gave me the decent ones.:spit: Idiots. I was getting two new ratchets a day for a week.

The PM stuff were the first tools I ever owned (until they got stolen), and I still say that they were pretty good tools for what they were. A lot better than some of the **** Walmart carries now.

You know, don't take this the wrong way, but sometime you can be a little "rough around the edges" for my taste, but I really like how you handled the warranty situation. They were trying to screw you over and you didn't let them.

I though it was yellow and black stanley stuff.

btw I saw some USA made STANLEY screwdrivers at WALMART. Seriously. It was a 2 pack, one had red on it, the other was blue.

I'm just thinking how old some people get. I don't mean age either.

Hey, I thought I was the only one who spotted those new Stanley "USA" screwdrivers. The one I saw was a 4 pack for like $4.88 IIRC. They didn't strike me as being any better than the non USA version. Plus, I think the fine print said that at least part of it was made from global components.
