Just started on my hobby paint booth. It will be an 8x10 addition into the back of my detached 2 car garage. I'll be posting pics from my phone as we go. Feel free to make comments. This is a first for me.

Good thing you took off that vinyl siding . . . shows that there is no tar paper or any kind of water barrier to protect the building.

With mold/algae showing on other side of shed, I'd recommend putting either house wrap or tar paper behind that vinyl siding . . . at minimum the side of shed you have tore up, if not the whole garage.

A friend of mine built one at his house. He lined the walls with bright white metal siding and quite a few T8 fixtures. When he first got done with it, when you turned it on you could hear the metal krinkling from the vacuum being produced. So where he had a solid door going into another part of the shop, he put a screen door and had a filter company make him a large custom filter to fit the screen door. It worked great !!!

He was doing some really high end paint jobs ( 30-50k ) and stayed very busy for 2 years .... until .... the " Big C " got him.
