I have a two car drywalled that is in need of a coat of paint. Looking to go two tone. Maybe a gray lower and White upper section? Its needs to be cleanable and reflect a lot of flourescent lighting.

The cabinetry is a mix of white Lowes Concord and RSI Estates with a 140 SF storage mezzanine across the garage door.

Any suggestions or examples?

The shinier it is, the more scrubbable it is. But I hate glossy paint. I always go with satin or eggshell. Satin is a little shinier.

For color you will just have to go to the store an look. They only have about a grillion colors.

I have always and only used semi-gloss. It just looks cleaner to me. I also like tons of light and have never had an issue with it, but this is a total personal choice. If you aren't sure, I recommend buying a quart of the color you want in the sheens you are considering and do a section of a wall with each. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is using flat. Way to hard to keep clean. Good luck - and you will probably find out, this is kind of like asking - Chevy, Ford of Dodge. :)

My garage walls are two-tone. The lower 4' is a light tan color and the upper part is semi-gloss white. Got the cheapest paint I could find. The ceiling is also a semi-gloss white. I also added a 5" band of red to separate the two wall colors. The floor is a tan epoxy. These light paint colors help to brighten the entire area (20'x32' and 9-1/2' ceiling) using three 8' four lamp T8 fixtures.

I used semi-gloss all around. Bright white on top, gray on bottom. Really brightens the place up, and the gray doesn't show the dirt that you typically get on the bottom of the wall. I think the gray that we used was called Stonewall Jackson from Dutch Boy.

light colors with upper lighter than lower. Semi gloss for clean up has worked well for me....happy painting.
