paint for marking tools

Any suggestions for durable brand or type of paint to use on hand tools. Just for marking to keep track of whose tools are whose. Thanks.

Better off buying a letter stamp set and hammering it in, though that's permanent if you have vintage tools or plan to pass them on at some point.

The key is to clean the area you want to spray very well and most paints will stick. After reading here for 4 years, most guys seem to prefer Krylon.
