Paint for sunporch concrete floor?

I have a screened in sunporch on a concrete pad. I'm looking to remodel it over the next couple weeks.

The floor itself is in good shape with no real stains. Although its is cracked pretty badly in one spot, and that section of concrete has heeved/ separated from the rest.

I should probably replace the whole thing.. But I'm not looking for a huge project right now. I think the reason it has moved is because snow gets in the sunporch, it melts/freezes in the crack, etc.. Makes things worse.

So, if I can keep the water out for now on in the winter, I assume that the slabs will stay pretty stable. I'll just have to put up plastic around the screens or something..

So anyways, I'd like to finish the floor. Something cheap and fast. It doesn't need to last a million years or anything. We hardly even use the room anyways.

I was in Lowes and noticed Valspar floor paint. About $23 a gallon. May take 1 or 2 gallons.

Anyone ever use it? Is it decent? Should I acid etch first?

Or should I consider a cheap epoxy kit?

Otherwise, I'm probably gonna buy the paint and see what happens! It'll be the last step in the project, so I won't even be ready to do it for a couple weeks.

I am going to paint my porch with that same paint. It was the only thing that they had to match my front door and shutters other than stain. I was wanting to go with stain but the guy was adamant about selling me paint instead.

Also, I noticed in the brochure I have that in addition to the regular Latex floor paint there is an oil based kind, and skid proof version.

Wonder if the skid proof version would be worth using.. Would probably be good on stairs (which may workout for the front entryway)

Edit: the skid stuff is $60 a can. Nevermind.
