OK, here goes.
I bought at an auction a couple of Nelmor lawn watering tractors, the kind that follows the hose. They are in rough shape but I saw a project.
I bought both of them thinking I could make one work, hooked both up and both worked!!!!!
Now I decided to clean them up and paint them, the main body is unknown metal, although it is rusted. I am working on the rust now, think vinegar and brushes.
Second part, since I am a F1 fan I thought why not McLaren orange? You know, just because.
I can't seem to find any more than the touch up pens. Thinking I need a pint or a couple of rattle cans.
Any Ideas for sourcing the paint???

Maybe try Touchupdirect they might have what your looking for.

I have only delt with them once and had no issues and their communication was good.

The body is almost certainly cast iron, at least the one I had was.

I'd use Rustoleum or equivalent in whatever shade of orange they offer. If you were putting it on your desk as a display model I would be pickier.

Yeah, mine is cast also. Oddly enough, the bolts holding the gearbox on came right out as did the front wheel bolt.
One end of the tractor is now soaking in vinegar..

Husqvarna orange is readily available in a spray can. Is it close enough to suit your wants?

No, McLaren orange is Papaya......but like Paco Pena says, it's not like it's going to a McLaren concours event! That Tamiya is pretty close!
