Should I paint my Snap-On Box red from PPG or rattle can Rustoleum in Sunrise Red or have it Blasted and Powder Coated?

Another option is to have it chemically stripped and either painted or Powder Coated?

Apples to oranges.

If you can afford blast and powder, do it, stop screwing around.
If you can't, well, there's your answer.

Well Dan, I'm obviously a bit biased here :D but since you've had your Chevelle since 1978, I'd be inclined to think you're likely to keep that SnapOn box for at least a little while. Painting it will be cheaper for sure ... but you get what you pay for. Before you hire anyone, check references and ask to see actual work samples; there are powder coating horror stories out there for good reason. Keep us posted!
