Painters got a lot of overspray on my garage floor. Anyone had to deal with removing overspray? I'm hoping the power sprayer will take it off. I am open to suggestions. I am planning on densifying and sealing soon.
Not sure how big the area is but try using a clay-mitt with some detail spray or soapy water on it. A lot of shops get cars coming in with paint overspray on them and they use a clay-mitt and it comes right off. Worth a try.
Assuming it is bare concrete (not sealed) acetone will get it off but is pretty strong stuff. Goof off isn't a bad option. Buy a gallon of it at the hardware for $15 or so, put in a spray bottle and spray on the floor before power washing, should come right off.
Acetone is very dangerous in large open amounts. We had a flash fire a work when it was used to remove carpet glue from concrete. This was during the summer and it was hot. Two employees were burned pretty good on the arms and legs. They had sprayed it on the floor and were scrapping up the glue and boom the room was on fire. It was over before it really started.
