Paint recommendations for a lift

I recently bought a used lift for my shop and decided to clean it up, strip off the old paint and repaint it before I install it. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this and could recommend the types of paint and primer I should use. I wasn’t sure if regular spray paint would hold up if oils or solvents got on it. I have most of the parts stripped down to the bare metal so I can inspect them and start painting them. I also emailed the manufacturer of the lift but haven’t heard back from them yet. Thanks in advance for the help.

An oil base enamel would be sufficient . You can get rustoleum in a can and brush it on. OR , Tractor supply sells a decent line of enamel with a harder. You could reduce it, add harder, and shoot with a $20 purple Harbor Freight gun (if you have a compressor.) And if you are at bare metal, use a primer

Sanded and etch primed my hoist and hand painted it with decent oil based rust paint.
