I inherited some spray guns from my late father.

Trying to figure out if they're worth keeping. Primarily I'd like to use them for auto refinishing if usable. Or maybe wood finishing although I don't do much of that right now.

Sharpe 971 with a #10 tip
Craftsman, maybe a 254 with a #3 stamping on tip
Binks 62 with HS99 marked on tip
Speedy 107a with unmarked tip
Sears 088 with a 506 tip

I suspect all of these are non-HVLP guns best suited for laquer or maybe enamel.

Anyone familiar with any of these?

I painted cars in various body shops from 1980-1995. The most common guns I noticed were the Devilbiss JGA and the Binks Model 7. I have used both and prefer the Binks.

Different paints respond differently. The Model 7 With a 36SK novel was great for the PPG top coats but useless for Sikens.
