Hey everyone!

Hoping to get a thread together here that will show a good variety of paint schemes for our garages. I know that there is a thread here and there with some photos, but I would love to get a thread that we can keep so other who are in the paint stage (like myself) can reference.

Personally, would love to see if someone has red bottom/stripe/gray top as this is what I am thinking, but just cant visualize it! :dunno:

Thanks in advance!

Not grey and red but grey white and blue. I would say a good amount of garages are painted in a very similar theme just different colors.

Hi guys,
I haven't posted much if anything but I'm kind of at the same point where I'm deciding on how to finish my garage/shed/barn. To give some background as to what my thought process is, I like the look of "lovingly aged" rooms and old cars.

The way I'm leaning is installing planks on the wall and then staining them different colors in a random fashion. Then I want to "pinstripe" red, white, and blue on the biggest wall (something patriotic - eagle, flag, muscle car) and "graffiti" some pinups or 50's, old shop, skull style wall tattoos.

I know, I sound like I'm rambling but I'm trying to get the ideas out there. That's for the main car garage/metal shop area, and mind you the metal accents in the room are all regal red (the crane, the light shades - I suppose the doors will need to be too).

The shed storage area I think will be really basic, just OBS with varnish on it, maybe pin striping. I'll see how ambitious I get, or it may be good practice for the metal shop.

Since the garage is a monitor style it has a loft as well. The loft I've figured will be the same plank, however I want a dock/beach/rainy day color scheme. The plank might be stained teal-ish blue with some different washes (white, blue, green). The rafters will be exposed so I think I may wrap them to look bulkier then paint them white. The floor I'm going to use plywood and cut into strips about 6" wide and nail them down. I'm still in the air what to finish the flooring in but I'm leaning to a darker color (chocolate brown, dark blue, dark stain).

Alright, I think that's it. Anybody have any thoughts? Am I crazy?
