Paint transition from garage to outside?

To those who have epoxied... what did you paint your transition from epoxy to the outside? Not really sure how to tackle the are to the asphalt... I've seen and been told you don't epoxy the exterior area as it will just yellow.

Acrylic sealer with pigment. Will never "amber" and breathes.

Mine didn't yellow, as much as it went very "flat" losing every bit of its sheen. But, it held on for nearly ten years. Your tape line was excellent. If it were me, I'd "fughedaboutit."

Rustoleum 2-part does not hold up well to UV, much like most applied products.

Thanks.. I had very minor bleed through with 3M Painters tape. I'm kinda OCC so the line was key

This is true with 99% of epoxies. They just simply are not UV stable.

Legacy nailed it. Breathable acrylic coating.

I have a straight dividing line as shown in the picture too. I just left the outside plain concrete. Suits me just fine.

I used tape and pulled it while wet for a good line. Just stopped at the over head door

There are products like stormshield and tsunami that can help make a nice line and seal out debris and weather.

Here is a prior discussion regarding garage door thresholds for the purpose of dealing with the transition. They are a good option for some. Especially if you have a drain in your floor. As Scotty and others pointed out, if you are one who tends to squeegee out your garage they don't work so well.

Painters tape works well imo.
