Looking for a chemical resistant paint that will work on a wooden workbench. Is there anything at Home Depot or Lowes?

I am thinking that if you use your bench as I do it won't be chemicals that take the paint off. Seem banging, dropping, drilling or pretty much anything I do hurts the paint.

More of maybe brake cleaner, gas and oily things, more of a mechanics bench. I would like something inexpensive for on top if a paint or coating will not do.What chemicals are you trying to protect it from?
