I have 4 concrete columns I need to put some wood trim on. Other than pressure treated, what type of 2x lumber can I use that can be painted without waiting? If I have to I'll just use pressure treated and wait until it dries out.

Use hardy trim, a cement type product. Looks like wood and is paintable, comes in a number of different profiles. And will never rot.

Is it 1 1/2 thick and easily ripped? Thanks
I just checked. I didn't see any 1 1/2 thick. That's what I need to match up with what's there.
