This is Japanese Combination Wrench, with all black by "electrocoat cation painting".
35-years ago, in 1985, this was launched a few as test trial.
I think "it's cool" with black color.

All painted models are very rare except chrome plating with black and other colors.
As my understanding, only 2-caese, this BEST TOOL and Snap-on Earnhardts Special, are there.
Is it collect?
Or other cases, there?

Husky has some black painted stuff. I ended up with a set of their painted ratcheting combo wrenches. The finish *****. No durability at all. The wrenches are fine but the finish is not. Of course if this is a display thing who cares.

There are a few that come to mind that come with a "black oxide" finish. Husky, Blackhawk, Stanley (at least at Canadian Tire in Canada), Gray Tools Canada, Armstrong, Grip, Neiko. A real range of pretty high quality to very low.

I'm not sure if these fall under the "painted" category so much as its a more industrial-looking coating process? The painted versions seem like they have a thicker coating, which in some cases seems almost more ornamental.

Amazon has some of the individual pieces in the Williams yellow high-visibility line, as in this 9/16-inch combination wrench.

Thanks for your information.
Amazon does not accept international shipping.
Therefore, I ordered it to ebay.

Draper and Sealey. :)

Thanks for your information.
It's nice colorful one.
I have known Sealey.
I did not know Draper one, which was cheaper than Sealey.
I will get it from UK.
By the way, I'm looking for "painted".
Draper & Sealey have some coating over the nickel chrome.

I picked up some Pittsburgh universal combo's from Horrible Fright recently that look like they were (partially) painted with black hammertone.
Pic doesn't do the finish justice:

I'm Infar/Taiwan collector too.
This is maybe OEM from Infar A-type (Raised Panel) with Speedy Open End & Spline Box End.
It is first time to see A-type with Speedy Open End for me.
It's nice information with thanks.

My apologies. I thought 'painted' was a bit of a mix up in translation and you meant 'coloured' but it was me who got it mixed up.

Very interesting posts by the way.
