Got a little freebie beverage fridge for the workshop, but it just didn't feel right.

Thought about a few different ideas, stickers, maybe even sticking a metal sign on it. Ended up spraying with blue rustoleum off the shelf from Home Depot, and hand painting with one shot. Planning to add some simple pinstriping when I can find my Mack brush!

Oh, and I had to carry the theme to the bottle opener!

Lagniappe! It's great doing your own auto service & repairs. It's also great maintaining your home & the systems in it. **** those things don't *show*. Little jewels like that are the lagniappe that are a constant reminder of the fun you can have with tools & imagination!

Nothing, I've gotta plug it in...

I actually have a full sized fridge in "our" garage so no hurry, but this little baby is for MY detached.

You got me motivated! I also put this on my garage page (Logan’s Garage https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=368481)

I got this old freezer about 11 years ago for free from a neighbor that was moving, it has been through 3 moves and used as a surface for many projects. I thought I'd give it a fresh look.

First I wheeled it out and cleaned it up good. She has some dents, but I'm not too worried about that.

I primed it first then painted it Sunrise Red. It took three cans to get it to this point. I could have used another, but I live about 15 min. out of town and was happy enough with it.

I had stopped at Autozone earlier and picked up this "Chrome" Automotive Trim.

I moved the freezer back into it's spot and applied the trim. I had a Snap-on sticker laying around. I know Snap-on actually has some freezers that you can find used pretty easily on Craigslist/Offer up...etc, but this freezer was free and a fun project.

Several years ago a friend of mine had a fridge in his garage that was a little rusty. He sanded it down and ended up painting red/white/blue stripes on it. It looked pretty good, I wish I had a picture of it.
