Well I took Friday off and the wife and I got busy and got the floor painted, finished up about 3pm today. Followed the instructions for prep work and got it good and dry. After mixing the first batch of Epoxy -Coat dumping it along the wall I was a little worried about the amount of paint for the project. I have an 18 x 24 addition on an existing garage. It divided into 4 sections of 8'9.5" x 11'6" so clost to the 10' x10' section they talk about. After spreading with the squeege I was really worried looked thin in spots . But I pressed on On to the back roll # 1 and boy does that make a difference. On to nexy section and felt a little more confident . Then back to first section for second back roll. Looking Good!!! Finished all sections and on to the chipe. Now the floor is light gray with the Black/white/granite mix. I bought an additional 6 lbs of the mix. That went well and I am very pleased with the final results.I am not adding any clear . Thanks to everyone who answered my stupid questions and Thanks Epoxy-Coat for your help. Now just got to get it dry.Have the furnace set at 70 .

Now just keep it clean! Don't be a slob like me lol. I epoxied and painted my floor and it looked great, then found myself leaving various fluid stains on the ground......didn't take too long before it looked like **** lol

I thought that was one of the main purposes of these types of floors. You can clean them up and never know they had anything on them ?

That floor looks super nice....great job!

Btw....is that a grey wood panel you used for the lower half of the wall? Looks good. I thought it was a stone at first.

Like most things in life....with moderation!

If you spill and clean up fairly soon, no big deal from what I understand. The problem occurs when you let it set for too long.
