I have a simple question. I have workshop that I am a little tired of the floor. It is a concrete floor and the issue I am having is dirt. I use my shop for everything, I do woodworking, rebuild old tools, electronics and work on my autos. Anyway the problem I am tired of is I can sweep and sweep till I think its clean and if I sweep again it will show dirt again. A top dollar coating would be nice but I don't have a budget for those 500+ dollar coatings. I have used some porch paint in the basement of my house and it worked great there. My question is has anyone found a decent paint that worked good. I am not so concerned about the looks as I am how it will be to clean. I like the paint in the basement and I am thinking that way. When I poured the floor we smoothed it out but not as smooth as the basement. i am thinking the dirt is getting in the pores and not entirely coming out. So if I paint will this take care of a lot of the dirt getting trapped?

Hot Trax is a paint made for garage floors. Its not supposed to get picked up by hot tires on cars (the success rate is debatable). No matter what you decide to use, good cleaning and prep will be your main issue.

How good are they at making the floor slick or smooth? I want to be able to smooth it out so its easier to sweep and get clean. I will have to check those out. Thanks

Thanks. What I would like to do is to coat it somehow so it doesn't seem to keep dust in it. About the only way it seems I can get dust off is to use a power washer. But all my tools are in there and I don't want to do that every time I sweep. I will check it out locally.
