painting/sealing garage steps

I'd like to seal/paint the concrete steps at the interior door going from garage to interior of my house. I'd like to avoid doing the full acid treatment, and also avoid buying a garage floor quantity of epoxy or sealer. Can anyone recommend a sealer or expoxy that would hold up to foot traffic on the steps without a lot of prep and that is available in a smaller quantity (gallon or less)?
