Typical old metal cabinets (but lots of them!).
I am leaning toward Rustoleum Hammered , rolled on.
Should I try to go to bare metal, prime, wipe and paint?
Or just a wipe down with some sort of thinner and paint?
Thanks

When I painted the cabinets in my shop 5 or so years ago, I wiped them down with laquer thinner to sorta clean them and sprayed Rustoleum Industrial Grey thinned down. They still look good even though my prep work was lacking. I just wanted them a single color and didn't care. Suprisingly they haven't flaked or anything, it seems to me when you don't give a **** about something the less work will go into it to make it nice, when you want it to look great and follow directions to the T it will fail somehow some way lol.
