I thought I read somewhere that you aren't supposed to paint the electrical panel cover.

I was going to give it a coat of white spray paint to blend it in better with the wall.

Any ideas on this?

I have seen them painted, someone might say, no, but who cares, paint it. Its not a smoke detector, it is painted already with gray paint..

I see no issue w/ painting the cover, just don't obliterate any info inside the door.

Yeah, I was just going to rattle can the outside of the cover. I already removed it so I wouldn't get paint on it while painting the walls.

I clearly lack the online skills necessary to come up with such emoticons. There is a Mr T as well? I spend too much time in the garage.
