Unfortunately pick and file work will eventually be gone. The metal on newer cars is so thin that the heat produced from sanding with a DA warps some panels.


not as long as theres old antique cars on the road..... also, its sad that the new parts are so cheaply made that its just cheaper to replace the panel and repaint.... instead of fixing the existing one.:dunno:

I just started reading this thread last night and I found it quite interesting. So I was looking through Craigslist today and I found this ad. Don't know if someone might be interested or if this is a good deal or not as I know nothing about this subject but I am interested in learning more. Whatever you do dont drill holes to gain access thats the bigest no no at least going by icar standards
