Hi, I just put down two coats or sw armor seal 1000hs with paint chips on the second coat. I can feel the chips on top. I guess they don't sink in to be flush with the epoxy? Is this normal? Should I put a clear coat on top?? Dan

We always suggest clear on top. You probably need to work quick though or the clear will not bond. Make sure you let them know when you did your original coat.
What will the floor be used for?
What kind of clear are you using?
Will you need to add an anti slip ?
Epoxy will "yellow" w/ UV exposure, is this a factor?
SW data sheet on the AS 1000 HS lists a maximum re-coat window of 7 days.
I personally wouldn't wait that long,.....but that's just me.
I would get a few questions answered, and get busy on acquiring and installing.
I used SW too and very happy with the results. You only have 6 hrs to 7 days to apply clear coat.
Its on the data sheets too
Good Luck ad post some pics
A clear topcoat like our ARMORCLAD Commercial/military topcoat will help this. We rarely sell a fleck floor without topcoat. Don't use a clear epoxy on top, it can yellow.
