Hit up an old favorite pawn shop that's closing so the owner can retire. They've been pulling some nice stuff out of storage!
A 4.5 out of 5 3/8" #45170 roundhead, and a pretty good TUFF 1 in 1/4" long style. I don't usually pass on any S-K ratchets that I come across, but these were exceptional finds. $4 total.

I really like the selector style on the 48975, makes changing directions much easier.

Agreed. The only caveat with those is the well-known issue of screw adjustment. Too tight and it won't click, too loose and the screw can fall out. But a dab of LocTite will do ya!

I try to never pass on SK tools. They are quality stuff.

The other day I picked up 2 Lectrolite tappet wrenches and a few other strays for $4

By the way, YOU ****

I'm not sure where' it's at right now, but I picked up a similar 1/4" SK from the neighbor when he retired from his business and they had a garage sale. It was priced at either 2 or 3 dollars.

Yeah, at that price, you just grab ratchets like that.

With S-K and Bonney rats I just grab them even though I have plenty of spares. Just for the parts.
And sometimes - like with the 3/8"er above - you get a pristine ratchet with a messed up selector. But you've got a new selector in the parts bin.
