I got a little piece of nail jammed in there. I tried pulling it out with a pick. No luck.

How can I get it out?

I have the same one but have never needed to disassemble it. Not sure how to, but maybe you can find a YouTube vid? They sell a maintenance kit, so maybe there are instructions out there

my guess is that the two pins hold the adjustment ring on. I looked up the parts and the ring appears to have a groove around it that the pins sit thru. That said, it might be time to try driving them out, take it apart, and if that fails call rigid to see if they will warranty it under the LSA if you registered it when you bought it. If not, it is a 3 year warranty but you need the original purchase receipt. Or buy a new one. It looks pretty used.

What Cobbler wrote may also work:
I looked at mine. looks like your drive pin is extended out. am pretty sure if you tap the center inwards it will move back to the return position and the nail should fall out .
