I've always found the answers to my questions through searching. Sadly, my search fu has failed me. I just need some clarification.

I have a SqD QO 200 amp Plug-On Neutral breaker panel where my service enters my shop. I installed a SqD QO125 amp Plug-On Neutral sub panel on the opposite corner of the shop.

Here's where I need clarification. I want to install the green bonding screw on the sub panel, and NOT install it on the main breaker panel, where my service enters from the power company correct?

Install it on the main as long as its the 1st disconnect after the meter,Seperate the neutral and ground bars on the sub.
No bonding screw on sub panel.

Wow, that sounds like BIG shop with that kind of power !!

Do you have bunch of PIC's from the build that you could start a GALLERY thread which documents entire build ???

We GJer's just LOVE new builds !!

^ ^ Zmax has you covered, assuming that shop has it's own meter. Post up pics of Main panel . .
. . . (cover On . . and . . cover Off) . . . along with same for Subpanel and GJ Sparky's will give you details of anything that might need changed.

Youve got that backwards.

The neutral should only be bonded at the main service panel and nowhere else UNLESS the subpanel is 3-wire fed and grandfathered.

If u remove the bonding at the main u will have issues with breakers being able to properly clear fault current!

The main service panel will either have the meter in it or will be fed from the meter and the meter only, with no disconnect in between!

Ok. Thank you all. Bonding at main breaker panel only. Yes, the main panel has the meter base directly behind it on the outside of the shop.
