The start of a work in progress, I stared insulating 2 weekends ago and am hoping to get some drywall up this weekend, will be nice to have some floor space back again

It is a 20 x 20 attached garage I was standing in the door entrance from the house to take the pics.

IMO, should not use paper backed ins with vapour barrier .

Thanks, and as stated it is Roxul, the source of heat will be Hydro aka electricity in the form of a cast iron fireplace from Vermont Castings

Papawhisky, I feel your pain with trying to drywall around a full garage! I had to do the same thing a number of years ago when we built ours. I was too slow in getting the walls finished, it was amazing how quick it filled up once it was 'usable'.

I coped by keeping the stuff stacked as high as possible in the middle of the floor to maximize the space at the wall. I also tarped the heap in order to keep some of the drywall dust out of there.

Nice selection of micro brews on your fridge!

Thanks, and ya not looking forward to the taping/mudding/sanding, but the brews do help

Been a few years since I did any drywall a few, forgot about the dust part . . . . . I got a few tarps and some mover blankets that should do the trick though .
