I have a Hitachi framing nail gun.

It uses 33deg paper collated nails. I have a lot of trouble finding 33 degree nails around here locally but I see 30 degree paper collated nails all the time.
Does 3 degrees matter so much that they wouldn't work?

It's this particular model if it matters: Hitachi NR90ADS1 2-Inch to 3-1/2-Inch Paper Collated Framing Nailer

Thanks

When I bought a couple of nailers 25 years ago all the manufacturers used different degree slants to force people to buy their grossly overpriced nails. They all claimed that no other nails would work in their nailers. I found that a couple of degrees made no difference.

I'm going to buy a small pack of 30 degree nails and run it through to see then.

If it works then that's great to know. I liked the idea of the paper nails because I wouldn't have plastic bits everywhere after using it. But after using up my first supply I bought online and looking around for pricing it seemed like a bad decision at that point until I figured I'd ask on here.
