I have had a mint condition 11/16 Par-x spanner for a while and have decided to try to make up a set of what Par-x produced. The first problem is there seems to be no information on the web that lists what they made. I know they made screwdrivers and tool boxes- how rare are these?. Does anyone know if they did metric sockets as I have only seen one picture of a set on google images.
Hope anyone has any info. Thanks for reading my first post.

Par-X was Snap on's second line. The hand tools seem to be well made, and the boxes are too.

Huh. Didn't know this. I have some Par-X wrenches, didn't know anything about them other than they haven't let me down.

It has taken me a while to getting round to posting some pictures but will post some on different forums with the hope of learning more about the brand from you guys over the pond.
Firstly my 4 drawer tool chest that I am going to repaint only where the original paintwork had been brushpainted over. Also a couple of screwdriver(one a bit butchered) that I managed to buy from one of my brother mechanics. I think that screwdrivers are going to be a real challenge to find.

Par-X certainly offered metric wrenches so I presume they had sockets too (though I've never seen any).

Nice PX-1B Top Chest. I look forward to seeing the completed project!

I got a set of Par-X metric wrenches in with some other stuff I got the other day, so they are real!
