You can add photos to your album on your profile page and post the links here. Alternatively, you can also use Photobucket or another off-site hosting service.

Nice!

Both the wife and I wear cobra-knot bracelets, mostly-aesthetic but incredibly practical in a pinch. We keep 25M of paracord around the house at any given time for random use, typically for tie-downs, etc.

I have a buddy that uses a double-run of paracord and a hammock when camping for a nice place to lay that doesn't take up much space between use.

Funny this thread came up. I saw a bin full of bracelets for sale at HD today. Think they were $3.97 each.

Paracord is great for sleeving computer wiring. Here's a piece I did for my own computer, it's an extension for the PSU and 100% custom made with white wiring under the white paracord:

Couple of years ago I was making quite a few of the bracelets for people and to sell here and there. I even made a jig for it.

Put some ruler tape I had on it to help measure out cord. Marks to know where to set the slide for different wrist sizes. And two sizes of clasps for whichever size I was working on.

Haven't touched it in a year or so though. Been sitting in my closet until I got it out for this picture! Lol

Please don't judge me on my fabrication skills. It was late and I put it together pretty quick!

Fun fact: I started that trend. About 4 years ago I wrote a guide and made a video tutorial on overclock.net

Really took off. Glad I don't do it anymore, tedious work.

I keep spools of it around the house/garage/gun range. I use it for everything.

Just get the real stuff.

Thanks to a Facebook link I got my German Shepard a paracord leash and collar.
I liked the look and it's comfortable to hold the leash.I paid $43 + $5 for shipping for a 6 ft leash and a 18" collar.I did not think the price was outrageous and not sure how much time/money /material used . Etsy could be a good market. I'd buy a second one for my other dog if she needs one any time soon.

I carry some in my work bag everyday, used it a few weeks ago to make a leash for a stray dog that jumped on my bus!

So what is the big deal with paracord? It's an honest question as I see it as another passing fad. :dunno:
