Thafe: welcome to GJ and yes we need pictures to help you. help us and we'll try to give you a ballpark. also that PARAMO is made in ENGLAND and not NEW ENGLAND unless you really have a rare one. if you need help posting pictures just ask.

As DIF says, it's made in old England, not new. 
They were made a cockstride from where I live. Price/worth will probably vary quite a bit between regions.

My Paramo #6.
Found this in a body shop "going out of business." It's still in pretty much the same condition as when I bought it. No jaw inserts......was being used w/o, they had broken off long ago. The swivel base is cracked clean through though still usable, Weighs about 90 lb.
