Paramo no 6 vice

Currently working on this vice finaly got the front jaw off.
When I open the jaws they do not separate by turning the handle. Close ok
O unscrewed the arm and have a spring and washer loose.
What do I need to do to make the jaws automatically open??

You’re missing the pin that sits behind the washer. There should be a hole in the spindle, you may need to compress the spring to access it.
