New to site and new to refinishing. I just refinished a Parker 83. I have been looking for information on this model to no avail. One thing I noticed was numbers stamped in the underside of the base on pictures. Mine doesn't have any numbers, only the Parker name and Meridian, Conn. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Really only looking for manufacturing time-line. Thanks ahead.

Bill

You're new to the site, but your Parker is new to me. It's obviously a later production light duty homeowner unit I didn't know Parker ever offered.

From what I found it was produced somewhere around the mid 1940s early 1950s. perfect size for my reloading bench.

It was left by the previous owner in the garage. I wish I would have taken before pictures, it was rusted up pretty bad.

Try researching Parker 63 1/2 for more of that style. Apparently the 83 series is less often seen.
