Parker #83

New to site and new to refinishing. I just refinished a Parker 83. I have been looking for information on this model to no avail. One thing I noticed was numbers stamped in the underside of the base on pictures. Mine doesn't have any numbers, only the Parker name and Meriden, Conn. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Really only looking for manufacturing time-line. Thanks ahead.

Parker made a line of light duty utility vises for decades. Yours is one of the light duty home owner utility vises. I'd date it somewhere in the late 1950s. Here is a catalog insert from 1942 showing an early version of your vise. Welcome.
