I would like to replace the tennis ball I use to park my truck. Does anyone have experience with the electronic parking devices?

Thanks, Joe

I have a retractable trouble light on the wall on a pivoting bracket, the wife says she sites it in the quarter glass of her Mustang, perfect park. Well, the other week I used it and didn't pivot it back so it was 180 degrees off. She parked as usual, hit the garage door button and it just missed the rear bumper by 1/4" Whew!

Think I may have to invest in one of those doohickeys.

I tried one of the the laser pointers and found that when it's cold in the garage during the winter, the laser's didn't work worth jack. I am talking 30-40 degree's farenheit.

so I use a simple piece of wood for each vehicle, cheap and works every time.

http://www.parkingblock.com/blocks.htm Kind of a tripping hazzard but it could be removable. I foud some black and yellow ones at home depot. They were just laying in the parking lot:dunno:

On a similar note you can use a "wheel spotting dish" such as those used on automotitve lifts. Just find out where you want one of the front wheels to be and put the dish down at that location. That way you are always parking in the same spot. The only downside I see is that is something in on the floor that could get in the way if you are moving your toolbox around or something like that in the garage. In that cause I guess you could epoxy in a threaded nut or bushing of somekind and bolt it to the floor that way where you could unbolt the spotting dish and you would have a pretty much smooth surface to roll stuff around on. There would only be a slight "dip" where the bushing/nut would be in the floor.
