Actually it shoud've been part one, but oh well. So I'm going to tear out or demolish a 25 x 12 foot slab of concrete, and replace it. Does anyone know if those WM bagsters will hold that much debris? I'm sure it'll hold weight wise if I bought 2, but my main concern is how much in bulk size will it hold. I plan on jack hammering it out, I just don't know how small I can get the debris. Has anyone here used these things? A rolloff dumpster is gonna run me around 350 dollars for 2 tons of material, extra if I go over that amount. I've never actually seen one being used, only in its package. So I really don't have a good idea of it actual size.

From the Bagster site-

The Bagster bag can hold up to 3,300 lb We can accept up to one cubic yard of heavy materials such as dirt, brick, rock, sod, concrete, sand, asphalt, plaster, stucco, etc. For safety reasons, Waste Management* will NOT collect a Bagster bag that is loaded with more than one cubic yard of heavy debris.

At 4" thick your slab is 3.7 cubic yrds of concrete weighing between 12,000 and 14,000 lbs. 5 yrd rolloff minimum.

Don't use the Bagster. There's a surcharge as well on collection. They weigh the bag and charge you an additional fee for whatever's in the bag. hidden costs.

I've used them twice - never paid more than the quoted pick-up price of $129 (which I believe is set by zones/regions of the country.)
Of course - I didn't overload them either time - but they were full to the top edge of the "bag" fabric with building material scraps.

Bagster seems like a rip off to me, but I have an old trailer and the county dump is only about 10 miles away.

Bagster is a great deal if you don't have any other reasonable means to get rid of that stuff. My county dump is reasonably close but I don't have a vehicle that could reasonably handle all that junk. I put a bunch of stuff in one at my old house when I was redoing the drywall.

Thanks for all the replies, the best I can do for a roll off dumpster is a 20 cubic yard that costs 280 dollars for 7 days with a 4 ton fill. Anything over 4 tons is additional.
