I have just purchased an old floor model 17" drill press model #113213170. It is missing the switch and I haven't had luck finding the part online anywhere. It is discontinued. I know a lot of people restore and also part out these tools. I need part # 816113. If anyone can help me out or point me in the right direction that would be awesome.

Thanks

I'd check a place like Grainger or an electronics supply place. Surely they can find a replacement, or real close. I'm sure you could find one that would work and fit. You may need to take the switch housing (or some measurements of the space it needs to fit in) with you. I'd also take the info on the motor data plate just to be sure the new switch works with it. Since you have the part number, they may even be able to cross reference it in their system and get a perfect match for you.

Post a photo. The switch probably isn't anything unique to Craftsman. Most of the Cman I've seen had pretty generic switches.
