So I'm going to be getting a part time job at the local gm Buick dealer we use for warranty work and alignments I'm already a full service ase tech. Just getting a part time gig to go along with my fleet gig. I've got a single bay craftsman box top and bottom and some basic tools but will bring some back and forth ill be doing general service tech work. I was wondering what you other techs maybe even gm guys think I should bring back and forth or keep there.

If I were you, I'd go bare bones to start. Keep just the basics at your new gig, and share tools between jobs for awhile. Since you probably already own a nice set, you're pretty well covered. In your situation, I'd see this as an opportunity to piece together a nice set cheap, since you'll have plenty of time to seek out really good deals here and elsewhere. Your only downside, dependent on the kind of work they'll have you doing, would be the difficulty of planning ahead -- what to take with you to work everyday -- and actually lugging tools to and fro. Good luck!

Jmm you got it exactly that's what I'm planning to do. Tinknocker I won't need a tech 2 I have one but its not even supported anymore now its the mdi. Iplan to go bare bones at first I shouldn't need to much specialty work type stuff
