Hello,

I recently was gifted a brand new purox gt-350 outfit. I know nothing about torches or welding with acetylene but the price was right. The box was open with no list of contents, just the warranty cards. I looked it up online and I think it is complete, but none of the torch parts appear to fit together.

I was wondering if someone could tell me if I have everything that I need to get started. I plan to do some research before I go at it and get proper PPE, but I want to know if I have everything besides the bottles.

Thanks.

the piece you're holding is a cutting tip, it fits into the cutting head thats laying beside the hose. the other tip goes into a torch handle which appears to be missing in your picture

the end of the cutting head that is towards the back of your bench has a nut on it, remove that and the cutting tip goes there, with the nut holding it in place .
the cutting head attaches to the torch handle, which you're missing.

Thanks, I had a feeling I had the entire cutting torch, the welding torch was the only part I couldn't figure out.

I see you're from Niagara, I attended Brock University from 2009-2014. I sure missed the arid climate there this summer in Toronto.
