Parts for broken CH compressor

I have a twin cylinder, 6HP, 60 gal. Professional Series vertical compressor, model number VT616300AJ, pump number VT232605KB. It looks like new as it's always been in the storeroom off my garage. Built in 1994. lost compression about 6 weeks ago

I tried the CH parts website and didn't find a direct listing. There is a cover plate over the output reed valves. Removing the plate on head exposed the broken exhaust reeds. Odd thing, there were two steel tabs laying loose on top of the reeds. Don't know why they are there, but they couldn't have gotten in there from anywhere else. Broken reeds are the extreme left and right in the picture with the "tabs" in the middle.

Jallyn, I bought it new in the crate. Thanks for sending me to the direct parts page for my unit. l didn't find it on my search. It lists the two tabs as restrictors and they probably broke off first and rattled around and got misshapened. Unfortunately, Mastertool won't have the parts until 2/20/16. but I remember the part number from another site and can find it elsewhere.

I have my fingers crossed for you on this one - I get really nervous when a seller says that it will take six weeks to get something. If it's in stock stateside, you should have it in a week or less.

A lot of 20-something year old compressor pump parts are NLA. A lot of the parts for my 1990 IR consumer-grade unit were NLA in under 10 years.

I wonder if you can make reeds out of the malosi carbon fiber material you buy in bulk for making reeds on 2-strokes? used to do that a lot when I kitted mopeds...

Success on attaining the parts this past Friday! Arizona Air Compressors has the kit for $25 in Phoenix, but they close a half hour after I get off work. That, plus 15 miles in rush hour traffic, pretty much killed that idea. I found a smaller compressor company, Airtek, who are CH certified, about 4 miles from work and on my way home. It took them about 4 hours to get back to me, but they had the kit for $10 more, well worth it in time and gas money. Installed the parts in about 15 minutes this past Friday evening and I'm up and running. Sears Parts could order the kit into their Mesa AZ warehouse in 3 business days, but I didn't want to wait as I have projects I can use compressed air on this weekend.
