I have a Safety Kleen parts washer. Can I use a gas fuel line inline filter such as a Fram G-3 before the brush? The reason I ask, I know I need some new Safety Kleen fluid but need to wash out an oil breather so this way, I know that no solids/ small particles will be getting into the oil breather.

If it settles in the tank correctly there wont be much stuff in the fluid. You almost got to wonder how they used these machines for decades without filters?
