Parts washer gloves?

My parts washer is petroleum based. I need some new gloves. I’m thinking PVC. What would you guys recommend long sleeve style gloves is what I had.

It’s been years and I cannot identify or remember where I got them from but would like some high-quality ones.

Would recommend them, or Nitrile gloves I used parts washer without gloves Barsol and with. Working in motorcycle shop used to wash my air filters to my mx bikes in it.

I have a hard time working on engines with gloves on.

Them some pretty good gloves, I think Barsol (or whatever brand saftey clean) who cleans the tank. Some people have a reaction to the cleaner, I never had any issues with it. But I am sure it ain't good to not wear gloves on hot days it is near impossible to put gloves on.

I should of been a little clearer with the question. I'm looking for a Pair of gloves that will last months.

Not looking for multi pack style gloves. Sorry for the confusion.

I got a couple pairs from McMaster. If you search "chemical-resistant gloves" you can choose what solvent you're using them with and they'll tell you which gloves you can use.

I usually use a pair of gloves made for a sand blast cabinet and then I have a shirt stay strap that I connect to them and then run over my neck. It gives me the ability to reach down deep into the parts washer and fish stuff out without the gloves sliding down. Combine that with a thin vinyl apron and you got yourself a good solution for keeping all the nasty stuff off you.

I've always been partial to the green nitrile gloves like linked to in post #2 Sized correctly they offer good dexterity when handling parts, and you can often get them with the pebble texture grip. Its what I use now for my parts washer and what I used when I ran plating/acid etch, dept. back in my factory days Much better than the Black PVC gloves which are usually slippery.

You can't use Nitrile gloves with any kind of Nitric acid though FWIW....

Some tasks I skip the disposables and use dishwashing gloves, typically cheap ones from the 99 cent store, or the deluxe ones from a restaurant supply. The trick for me is finding a true XL sized glove. Home Depot had some very nice looking gloves, marked on the package as L/XL, which is BS they are L making them pesky to get off.
