Parts Washer Solutions

I am considering on buying a parts washer, and on reviewing all the different brands of 20-40 gallon parts washers available, they all say to use water based cleaning solutions. I have a 5 gallon bucket of Berryman`s Carburetor and Parts Cleaner. Can this stuff be used in most of these parts washers from Eastwood, Jegs, Red Sun, etc.?

Even kerosene will typically quickly kill a pump in the common low-cost parts washers. BTDT. And a pump that will survive costs about as much as the parts washer originally did.
