Looking for suggestions for a new parts washer solvent (or not solvent?).

I do light motorcycle repair so don't need the strongest. It needs to be safe for aluminum, and maybe plastics.

Suggestions?

You might take a look at "Ozzy juice" from Smartwasher. Its expensive, but would maybe work well for you.

We have that at work. I will say that it's extremely easy on the skin especially compared to some of the mineral spirits I've used before. However the setup we have is really high maintenance. The filters clog up really fast with all the grease and gunk we need to clean off oily parts and stuff. Not only do the filters need to be replaced decently often (for best cleaning performance) but the juice itself has a lifespan after being used so much. If you're not using it every day I'm sure it would last longer though. It also cleans pretty well and it's really nice to not have to worry about burning your hands up.

We have it at work too,and I agree, its not that great for heavy use by a few techs. For light duty purpose, I think it would be great.
