I lent my paslode framing nailer to a friend and said it is jamming up more often then not so i figure its time for cleaning and lubricating the unit. I know paslode recommends using paslode brand de-greaser and lubricating oil but does it really make a difference? Can regular 3 in 1 oil, de-greaser and electric connection cleaner be used? Thank you in advance for the help.

I dont think its the nails, its a brand new box of paslode brand nails, but thanks for response. The unit has quite a few hours on it since its last service i really just need to know if its okay to use non paslode oil and de-greaser.

I use other brands of oil and degreasser

Ok cool thanks for the info. Those nailers are work horses, just keeps going and going. Probly one of my favorite tools, a lot of fun when you fix a spring to pull back the safety and have a little target practice haha
