I'm looking for a pass through torque wrench. Does such a tool exist? I need some vertical displacement from the wrench, and so need to be able to use sockets to get this. Not an open end torque wrench, but a pass through torque wrench that I can drive sockets with. Please and thanks. Can someone please point me in the direction of a few

The Armstrong Eliminator socket set system gad torque wrenches offered, but good luck finding one nowadays.

Thanks, I think the torque extensions show in the picture would work, then just need one to drive the socket.

Those look great. But it doesnt look like Proto makes them in metric. I've noticed an odd split in their catalog where many tools are SAE only. In general I'm a bit of a Proto fanboy and try to buy their products first. With Zoro 20% off, their pricing is usually halfway between tool truck brands and Taiwanese brands, but their quality is at or above tool truck for many things.

Facom manufactures metric version, as well as metric ring/box ends for their torque wrenches.

@Facom
Every reputable European manufacturer makes these, Hazet and Stahlwille come to mind; they are torque wrenches with inserts and theres a formula (or app) to calculate the torque based on insert length. The inserts are standard sized 9x12 or 14x18mm

Expensive.

Gedore too.
Their ratcheting box SUKSE9 17 would match up with the 17mm hex on the Nano shallow 3/8 sockets. Possibly lacking socket retention.

They have more sizes in their fixed box pieces than the ratcheting.

Other pass-through socket sets may have better center clearance of course.
