Pass-Thru Socket Holder/Organizer

I finally found a pass-thru socket organizer/storage solution that I'm happy with. Pictured below is my minimal "go" toolbox with a Crescent X6 Pass-Thru Adjustable Wrench Set. To keep the sockets organized and make sure they stay put, I used an 8" Magrail with 1/2" Studs from Vim Tools. The rail is stuck (magnetically) to the bottom of the toolbox and the sockets are stuck (magnetically) to the rail. You slide the studs into the rail's channel to position them where you want and then screw them down so they stay fixed in place, which allows custom socket spacing. The magnet is strong enough to keep everything secure and sockets come off the rail with ease when needed.

i also like the idea of these small boxes now that I seen you set one up. I honestly don’t use 1/4 drive much i dont really see below 8 mm and super shallow 3/8 are short as 1/4 shallows but if I got rid of my 1/4 drive tools I’d be kicked off the forum. Putting them in one of these small cases might make sense for me and if i need them I can grab the whole case with sockets and a couple ratchets and extensions
