I can't stand getting flashed while tig welding and I've dexided its time for a new hood. My HF auto darkening is fine for stick and not but not for low amp tig. The problem is that I cant afford a 200 helmet for tig work right now. So I was hoping you guys might give me some input on passive helmets for tig. I eas looking at this model as I can get the auto darkening lense at a later time for it.

You want a Jackson Shadow with a #10 amber lens with a gold coating. The best for low amp tig, and less than $60 for the helmet and lens.

Oh man, if there was someone in particular I was hoping would chime in, your work is awesome!

I stopped in at both of my lws, neither carried anything other than radnor, prostar, and miller, and it really was only the 250-400 hoods, so now I'm going to look online.
